Apr\u00e8s mes 3 semaines de stage en f\u00e9vrier, je prendrai mon chien. J\u2019avais d\u00e9j\u00e0 tout organis\u00e9 depuis octobre : l\u2019appel avec un b\u00e9n\u00e9vole de l\u2019asso, la visite du domicile.. Je checkais tout le temps le site, et puis j\u2019ai fini par choisir. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Quand j\u2019ai vu Shotgun (ex-Raquel), j\u2019ai tout de suite craqu\u00e9 sur sa bouille trop mignonne. L\u2019attente, une fois le choix effectu\u00e9, \u00e9tait tr\u00e8s dure mais l\u2019association envoyait souvent des mails avec des infos, des photos des chiens dans le camion\u2026 Et puis le jour J est arriv\u00e9. D\u00e8s la fin de mon stage, je suis venue avec une copine r\u00e9cup\u00e9rer mon chien. Au d\u00e9but, je dois dire que je ne l\u2019ai pas reconnue. Elle \u00e9tait si petite, bien plus menue que ce que je m\u2019\u00e9tais imagin\u00e9e.. Le collier \u00e9tait trop grand, le harnais aussi. Au d\u00e9but, Shotgun \u00e9tait tr\u00e8s tr\u00e8s peureuse : elle restait assise et ne bougeait pas de son p\u00e9rim\u00e8tre de s\u00fbret\u00e9. Et puis 3-4 jours apr\u00e8s son arriv\u00e9e, apr\u00e8s avoir pass\u00e9 tout l\u2019apr\u00e8s-midi avec des copains de l\u2019\u00e9cole et leurs chiens, elle a fini par s\u2019ouvrir et a interagi avec les autres. Par la suite, elle n\u2019a cess\u00e9 de faire des progr\u00e8s : elle jouait avec les autres chiens, prenait les devants en balade, osait traverser les rivi\u00e8res\u2026 <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Quelques mois plus tard, les gal\u00e8res ont commenc\u00e9 : d\u2019abord une otite qui n\u2019en finissait plus, puis une fracture de la patte\u2026 J\u2019ai appris qu\u2019elle \u00e9tait quasi totalement sourde (peut \u00eatre de naissance). M\u00eame si je m\u2019y attendais un peu, ce fut un gros choc. J\u2019ai adapt\u00e9 son \u00e9ducation, et finalement ce n\u2019est pas du tout d\u00e9rangeant au quotidien.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-preformatted has-large-font-size\">\"<em>J'ai appris qu'elle \u00e9tait quasi totalement sourde, ce fut un gros choc<\/em> \u201d<\/pre>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Honn\u00eatement, je ne regrette absolument pas mon choix ! C\u2019est la meilleure chose qui ait pu m\u2019arriver. Je me rends compte de la chance que j\u2019ai de l\u2019avoir, et surtout de ma chance d\u2019\u00e9voluer dans un environnement aussi bien adapt\u00e9 aux animaux.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aujourd\u2019hui, Shotgun me suit dans tout ce que je fais (ou presque) : elle se balade en libert\u00e9, sait rester toute seule sagement \u00e0 la maison, adore les gens, me suit en week-end scout sous la tente, m\u2019accompagne en vacances&#8230; Un super chien tr\u00e8s sociable et facile \u00e0 vivre. Je remercie du fond du c\u0153ur Remember Me de m\u2019avoir fait confiance malgr\u00e9 mon (jeune) \u00e2ge, mon budget et mon appartement \u00e9tudiant.
