Our Veterinary Team
Apistopvet, our partner veterinary clinic in Topile (Iasi County), relies on Dr Lucian Radu, a renowned veterinarian in Romania and founder of the center, supported by Dr Andreea Toma who comes to the shelter one day a week. Three veterinarians work there full-time. Together, they handle the daily care, sterilizations, vaccinations and emergencies for our pups.

Veterinarian at the shelter, one day a week
Andreea spends one day a week at Remember Me Land for routine care and consultations. She joins Lucian at the Apistopvet clinic for cases that require more advanced equipment.

The Apistopvet transit center and Remember Me Land shelter clinic are equipped with modern facilities to house and care for our pups. Located in Valea Seaca (former honey factory), the center was legalized as a collection center in August 2022. The on-site clinic includes multiple examination rooms, an operating room, and an intensive care unit.

Apistopvet Transit Center
Located in Valea Seaca, the Apistopvet center was purchased in late 2021 (former honey factory) and legalized as a collection center in August 2022. It serves as a transit and stabilization point for dogs before their repatriation to France. Dogs receive initial care, vaccinations, and initial behavioral assessment.
Our Services
Vaccination
Complete vaccination against infectious diseases. All our pups are vaccinated before repatriation.
Deworming & Parasite Control
Complete treatment against intestinal worms and external parasites. Protocol of 2 to 3 courses minimum.
Sterilization
Castration or ovariohysterectomy surgery. €40 per female, €30 per male. Close to 500 female sterilizations per year since 2015, with a target of 700 for 2026.
Identification & Passport
Microchip identification and European passport issuance. Mandatory for repatriation.
General Care
Wound cleaning, teeth cleaning, infection treatment, injury care.
Emergencies & Pathologies
Fast intervention for critical cases at the Apistopvet clinic. Treatment of chronic diseases and post-operative complications.
Critical case handling
Dogs rescued from the streets are often in critical condition. Our veterinary team intervenes without delay: resuscitation, transfusions, antibiotics, pain relief. Some will take months to recover.
