How does the transport home work?
Nous avons recours à un transporteur professionnel, donc c’est métier, de transport nos animaux dans son camion de transport, spécialement aménagé…. Leurs couches sont changées, ils sont nourris et abreuvés à chaque passage de frontière.
All repatriations are declared to the European organization TRACES, which regulates animal movements within Europe.
However, for dogs or cats that are fostered or adopted in Belgium, you will have to register the animal's chip to your name yourself at Dog-ID.
A sheet with instructions and considerations will be sent to you via email a couple of days before your furry friend will arrive, including a reminder of all the information mentioned here. You can also check out our frequently asked questions (FAQs) for more information.

Where can I pick up my furry friend?
You can pick up your little one at one of the following stops:
In the east of France:
Sarrebourg (57) : SPA de Sarrebourg – Refuge des Malgré-eux -Route de Réding – 57400 SARREBOURG
Longwy (54)
In the Paris area:
Villeneuve-sur-Auvers (91) : Ferme Les Poupettes – 91580 VILLENEUVE SUR AUVERS
In the west of France:
Cesson-Sévigné (35) : Centre commercial Carrefour – Za la Rigourdière (en face de Gulli Parc) 35510 CESSON SEVIGNE
In the south:
Robion (84) : 505D avenue de la Gare – 84440 ROBION
Mâcon (71)
Vourles (69)
Avec arrêt sur Lyon si demande.
Although we can sometimes find a solution to bring the dog to you, a foster or adoption family should never assume that this will be possible. The family should try to find a solution to pick up the animal at the stop where it arrives. Please note that the association will not refund any transport costs incurred. We remain at your disposal to try and help you find solutions to come and pick up your dog or cat, and although we will do our best, in principle, picking up your dog is at your own expense.

Tips for the arrival of your dog
Every dog has its own unique temperament, but all repatriated canines are exhausted and stressed the day they arrive. After traveling for several days, they find themselves in unfamiliar territory, without any landmarks. Surprised by the commotion, frightened by all the people watching them, they are likely to react in surprising and unpredictable ways.
We are at your disposal to provide you with some advice to apply on the day of repatriation. You can also consult our FAQ to learn more.
Thanks to our partner Steven de Canitopiewe can propose a free virtual canine education session to better prepare you for the arrival of your dog.
