Become a partner shelter
We are always open to new collaborations with other shelters. Indeed, there are so many Romanian dogs/cats to save in the country that any help is welcome. Each animal recovered by a French structure frees up a place at Remember Me Land, where we already house 350 to 400 dogs and puppies (not including cats!) permanently.
Here are the criteria that we expect from a partner shelter :
– no euthanasia practiced in the structure in question;
– coverage of transport and care costs (sterilization, identification, vaccines, etc.) at a minimum.
We don't impose any rescues and offer several profiles depending on the capabilities of the association we work with. However, we don't see the point in partnering with a shelter that only wants to take in young puppies or small, sociable dogs, since we manage to place them quickly ourselves.
If you would like to help our protégés and you meet the above conditions, then do not hesitate to contact us by contact form oy by email (assorememberme@gmail.com)
And thank you in advance for them!
Our partner shelters:
Created in 1986, the Sarrebourg SPA is an independent association that takes in around 700 animals per year. Their shelter is the first stop on French soil during our repatriations. It is there that a veterinarian checks our pets upon arrival, providing a certificate of good health which is then given to adopters and foster families. The Sarrebourg SPA also takes care of some of our pets in Romania, as well as those returned for adoption that we are unable to quickly rehome.

The shelter " Au Bonheur des 4 pattes » has existed since 2002; it permanently houses 70 dogs and 150 cats. Located in Nîmes, it is supported by the 30 Million Friends Foundation as well as the Brigitte Bardot Foundation. Our senior dogs sometimes benefit from their help.

The association " Sauvetage Animaux 76 » cares for and finds adoptions for stray or abandoned kittens and cats that it rescues. It also conducts major sterilization campaigns. "Sauvetage Animaux 76" helps our cats find a forever home by welcoming them to France.

The refuge de Fontorbe is located in Saint-Jean-d’Angély; supported by the 30 Million Friends Foundation, which donates 600 euros in veterinary fees to all adopters of their senior dogs, it has offered a better future to several of our protégés.

The association " Friends of Paws’n’claws » works for the animal cause in Normandy. It works with foster families to help abandoned and abused animals in its area. "Friends of Paws'n'Claws" regularly takes some of our protégés under its wing.

The ARPA 91 shelter has been based in Ris Orangis since 2014; he regularly helps Romanian dogs, offering them a box, daily outings, and the promise of a better life.

The SPA of Lyon and the South-East is an independent association, founded in 1853. It manages the shelters of Brignais (dpt 69) and Dompierre-sur-Veyle (dpt 01). It takes in some of our animals on its premises, giving them the chance to find a family on site.

This haven of peace, established near Barcelonnette, has as its sole priority the well-being of its residents.AUDACCE (Ubayenne Association for the Defense of Animals, Cats, Dogs and Equines) works in tandem with other organizations; some of our dogs have had the chance to stay there.

The association " Coeur de Minou » helps abandoned/stray cats by feeding and caring for them before finding them a family. She takes in some of our senior dogs, with the aim of quickly placing them in a loving home.

The Association " Suzi Handicap Animal » specializes in rescuing disabled animals. Dogs, cats, sheep, cows, horses… Their residents, in addition to being diverse and varied, come from all over the world! “Suzi Handicap Animal” has welcomed some of our protégés with open arms.

The refuge of the SPA of Baux de Provence is located in the heart of the forest of the same name; it houses around a hundred dogs and fifty cats, serving as a pound for the surrounding communities. The SPA des Baux takes in some of our cats and dogs to give them a well-deserved new start.

Created in 1993, the Association “ S.O.S. Animaux le Broc » is affiliated with the National Confederation for the Defense of Animals. Their residents are pampered by around fifty volunteers, each more dedicated and loving than the last. Several of our dogs have been lucky enough to benefit from this 4-star care.

The Association " Secours aux Animaux en Détresse » (SAD 57) has been helping mistreated/abandoned dogs, chickens, cats, turtles, exotic pets and horses for over 10 years now. Thanks to the involvement of its foster families, as well as the enthusiasm of its two founders and directors, some of our cats and dogs have been able to find the loving home they were looking for.
